Waimanalo Pumpkin Patch

We took Noah to his first pumpkin patch on Saturday afternoon.  I loved it!  It was a little chilly and cloudy while we were there.  It almost felt like fall!  It was a cute little pumpkin patch, and much to my surprise it was real!  I had heard they "imported" all the pumpkins, but I think everyone must have been talking about the other pumpkin patch on the other side of the island.  I've heard so many complaints about the other pumpkin patch so I was super excited when I saw a poster for this place.

Noah loved the farmer!  He went by on his tractor and Noah watched him until he was out of sight.  Then when we were paying for our pumpkins the farmer was talking to Noah and entertaining him.  He started blowing raspberries/bubbles at Noah and then Noah wouldn't stop blowing raspberries back at him!

We went with Annie, her mom, and two little sisters.  They are so cute!  They were running around and inspecting all of the pumpkins.  Kelsey helped me pick out Noah's.  I wanted one with a cute stem on it and she kept telling me all the ones I liked were dirty!

We had a great weekend, but we missed Daddy so much!  When Noah & I go to do new things for the first time it's hard.  It makes me miss Randy even more.  I know it's hard on Randy, too.  These are sweet little moments in Noah's life and I just wish Randy didn't have to miss them~ any of them.  Obviously some days are harder than others for me, but I continue to remind myself how truly blessed we are!  Daddy will be home very soon and for that I'm so thankful!

Cutest pumpkin in the patch!
Another awesome outfit made by my Tia Laurie!

What day is Halloween over?
Check out the view of this pumpkin patch!
My little green monster is officially done being a little green monster!
Getting a taste of Annie's shaved ice!  She always gives me the good stuff :)

Fall Festival!

On Friday night, we went to the fall festival on base.  We had so much fun!  My sister made the super cute spider outfit for Noah.  Unfortunately the little spider's eyeballs didn't last the entire time!  Noah loved watching all the other kids run around.  I was surprised, but he was the only little green monster there!

Noah's first tattoo!  Better be his only ;)

Together again!

Noah & I made it safely to Oklahoma! It's awesome being together again. Now we're ready to be together in our home with our things! The lodge we are staying in isn't terrible, but it's definitely not 5 star either. We love seeing Daddy every day for lunch and having him to ourselves every evening so that makes it worth it!

We're flying back to Hawaii next week so I'll try to update once we get settled in. I only have about a million images to share from this summer ;) Thanks for all the love & support everyone gave during this deployment. It truly means a lot to our family!

Playing with Grandpa!

Noah's 1st roadtrip!

We're having an awesome time at Aunt Laurie's! Here are a few images of what we've done so far.

The car is packed and we're ready to roll! We're only one hour behind schedule! :)

Having a little bit of fun at Trails rest stop in Albert Lea. Daddy would be proud!

Entering Fort Snelling...

Noah was the youngest Recruit in the Infantry Drill for the little ones.

Sutter's Store where we bought some snacks and Root Beer!

Grandma & Grandpa seeing what it was like many years ago when Soldiers slept two per bed.

Reading his new book with Grandma in the hotel room.

I was such a good boy at Fort Snelling that Grandma & Grandpa bought me a book!

Noah's first trip to the swimming pool! Had he not pooped his pants on the way out of the door the first time we left the room maybe we would have made it before it closed because of the storms :)

Hubba hubba! :)
